Starting out as a musician on the road, living the dream, Kyrl eventually figured out that the rock star future was not in the cards, but he found something that was rewarding and challenging: working in a recording studio. First as a singer, and eventually as a producer, things spread out from there to custom music writing and production, radio writing and production, TV, copy, and when the Macintosh landed in front of him, it was all over.

Eventually he ended up with a camera in his hands and then all bets were really off. Capturing images and light and framing the shot have become a passion for the boy.
Recently, Kyrl has decided he may be able to apply his creative and persuasive talents in more worthwhile endeavors, and so has pursued making documentary films that deliver a message about a cause or effort.
It’s been fun. And still is.
